A fictional consulting firm created during my internship at Accurise Consulting, a real consulting firm in New York. The assignment: build a fake company's brand identity from scratch with a small team. I led the visual identity, designing the logo suite and wordmarks in Illustrator, along with a mockup website based on Accurise's own site. Each design went through rounds of feedback from my groupmates, who acted as clients, a color felt off, a typeface didn't fit, so I'd revise and bring it back. That process taught me how to work with clients, whether freelance or in-house, where the goal is always getting to something they're happy with.
THRESHOLD
An in-progress website that recommends extracurricular activities to high school students, solving a gap I noticed during my own college application process, when finding opportunities meant scavenging across scattered sources instead of one place. I'm designing and building the whole thing myself, sitting in the emerging "design engineer" role that bridges aesthetics and code rather than treating them as separate jobs. It's a good fit for how I like to work, and the project has taught me a lot about where the two sides pull against each other.
